When Sharon Pell and I had the opportunity to display our work in a Gallery Show in 2006, I immediately became a fan. She was showing her S*Pellbinders™ pieces, which have received notable commissions from the likes of designer Tommy Hilfiger and Paramount Pictures. I had never seen an artist create a canvas by combining posters, maps, and newspapers. I immediately approached Sharon to create a GZ Art Guitar.

It is extremely challenging to cover an entire guitar body in paper and then to paint an image on top of that, all the while keeping the artwork in perspective. She did a phenomenal job with it, and then we had to follow suit and finish the guitar to the standard she had set. This has turned out, in every aspect, to be one of the most amazing instruments we have ever created. The photographs just can't do it justice. We plan to feature this guitar as one of our premier pieces in an upcoming gallery show. GZ will certainly be collaborating more with Sharon in the future.
