Modern Art

This guitar is decorated with a hand-painted, original design and is not only a true piece of art, but an outstanding guitar as well. It has been displayed at numerous music and art gallery shows and has been written about in guitar-art articles in national magazines and newspapers.

The modern art design achieves the difficult task of incorporating the front, back, and pickguard, resulting in a uniform picture resembling a canvas painting. The guitar was painted by artist John Stanton who has achieved fame and success in designing art for some of the most cutting edge music clubs of the 80's.

It was put together by Joe “CJ” Civitano, who in addition to owning and running his own elite guitar repair business, works with many Guitar Center stores in the Northeast handling their high end repairs. We chose Lindy Fralin custom pickups based on the advice of many musicians who feel they are the most state-of-the-art pickups manufactured today. With special attention given to every detail of the finish, this instrument is on the level of any custom shop piece.
