THE HUGO STRAT

This guitar was painted for GZ Guitars by Hugo, a professional fine artist from Buffalo, New York. I was immediately attracted to his art and how he uses guitars in his design concepts. He has an amazing body of work and sees guitars as an architectural starting point for advanced imagery. Since 2001 he has been featured extensively in both local and national galleries, as well as numerous public exhibits. His work is best known on the East coast. The guitar is outfitted with Joe Barden's S-Deluxe White Chocolate pickups, which are considered to be some of the best pickups made today. Their tone is absolutely "Strat" in character: the "in-between" positions are wonderfully hollow, and the bridge pickup has the strength, snap, and twang typically experienced only in Telecasters. The unique, staggered-blade design of the bridge pickup, common to all Joe Barden single-coil sized bridge pickups, eliminates drop-outs on the outer strings.
The guitar body is a Fender USA Alder wood Original Contour Body. The neck is a Modern "C" shape with 22 "Fat" frets. It has a Vintage Style Synchronized Chrome Tremolo Bridge and comes with a hardshell case.
