Gibson SG Special - by artist Jason Limón

Jason Limón was born and raised in San Antonio, Texas. He is currently creating gallery work and commercial illustrations, some of which can be seen in Communication Arts, Society of Illustrators of Los Angeles, American Illustration, Print Regional Design and Graphics. When I spoke with Jason he appealed to me as a young artist who has a real creative passion for the venue he paints in and right away I asked if he would paint a guitar for us. His piece exhibits what the best of art guitars are about. He really grasped the concept of painting on a guitar and produced one of the most classic art pieces GZ has ever had. I know we will work with Jason again in the future. He chose a USA Gibson SG guitar. It was built by Kyle Ruggendorf, a young man who is also an outstanding craftsman in his venue. The guitar has custom made Voodoo pickups. A one of a kind instrument. Hardshell case included.
